INTRODUCING THE LIVELY ANTIK PRINT;
REFLECTING THE DEEPEST ASPIRATIONS & IMAGINARY JOURNEYS A WOMAN CAN LIVE ALL EYES ON THE DESIGNER’S INSPIRATIONS
If you knew Faby Jaca and perhaps you do, you will undoubtedly notice the enigmatic little sparkle in her eyes. This undefinable « grain de folie », enchanting impulse, freedom… A fashion designer completely free-spirited and a bit mischievous. The kind of woman who woke up one morning and told herself, such as American actress and Interior Designer Elsie de Wolf did « I’m going to make everything around me beautiful, this will be my life ».
When designing her latest print, many inspirations came to her mind and soul. She started to think and fantasize about all sensational past lives she lived. As an unconditional passionate of all arts, she pictured herself becoming a lyric singer, an actress, a movie director, a painter an architect… Creation, always at the center of all her wildest and deepest aspirations.
The Antik Print is a tribute to all her imaginary journeys as a woman but mostly to all women artists all around the globe. A marvelous, elegant, tonic, vivid medley of red and purple. Strong, daring but above all lively and refreshing. If you look closely to this Fuchsia-White print you will perceive so many intriguing arty winks, a pure artistic vision and declaration of love coming to life. Design and architecture through Art Déco patterns with a strong reference to a captivating wrought iron screen. Music, glamor and cinema through a subtle figurine lyre player. Female charm with countless incrusted curved lines details. Be as one with your artistic fiber, enhance your creative spirit, let all your enchanting dreams come true, embody the lively Antik print.
INTRODUCING THE DREAMY BABYLON PRINT - DIVE INTO A PURE FANTASY. REFLECTING THE DEEPEST CULTURES & SHADES OF OUR WORLD.
ALL EYES ON THE DESIGNER’S INSPIRATIONS
When Faby Jaca started creating her latest print, she dreamt of a place where garden and water meet, where architecture and mystic merge, where waterfalls and flowers are queens. An imaginary world. A myth, an adventure, a journey but above all, a fantasy. Suddenly it appeared to her, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Luxuriant, lush, the definition of the cycle of life. One of the seven wonders of the Ancient World and probably the most marvelous of all. An ode to nature. A heaven where our eyes can only be caught by the beauty around us. Exotic gardens, powerful water. The idyllic balance and combination of down-to-earth beauty and dreamy vision. As water is the driving force of all nature, the Babylon print is a declaration of love for the flow of life. Not an hallucination, a print coming to life. Crystal turquoise meeting pure white. Subtle transparency. Celebrating the Neo-Babylonian Empire with the cold colors we love most, cyan, aqua and deep sea. Nothing softer, a delight for all senses. With its arabic calligraphy, poetic water drops, purple edging. Be as one with water, rejuvenate your spirit, enhance your spirituality. Babylon, an art and dream to wear.
BLACK SPIRIT - CULTURES & SHADES OF OUR WORLD. ALL EYES ON THE DESIGNER’S INSPIRATIONS
Such as any artist, Stylist & Designer Faby Jaca draws her inspiration and fuels her wanderlust in vibrant and magical places in search of ultimate gems. While starting the creation of her latest collection and leaching through her Biba gold & black 70’s fashion book, she reminded the most extraordinary discovery: « When my eyes got used to the light, the details of the room slowly emerged from the darkness, strange animals, statues and gold, everywhere the glitter of gold. » Howard Carter, 1922.
The theme of her next capsule suddenly appeared to her - Ancient Egypt mysteries embodied by Tutankhamun’s and his golden mask. Faby Jaca forever craved to create a gold & black pattern, as she always perceived women as pure goddesses and her design vocation has always been to glorify them. While strolling around « Tutankhamun, treasure of the Pharaohs » Parisian exhibition back in late 2019, deeply moved by the beauty around her, she realized how much history, art and fashion were linked and how much her deepest inspirations were connected. From her Fashion crush for the Iconic 70’s Londonian Concept Store Biba, her art attraction for the Geometric works of the Golden Age Art Deco to the mythical Parisian Exhibition she was witnessing.
Black Spirit is not just a print, it’s art. An art you can wear, at all times. Sensual, spiritual, graceful, impactful, POWERFUL.
BLACK SPIRIT STAND IN YOUR GODDESS POWER.
